The Crane Hotel

I’ve been suffering from this grey, cold January weather this year, so I’ve been looking around for short escape out of London.

While doing my research I bumped into this super unique minimal luxury hotel located on an old coal Crane on the Nordhavn harbour in Copenhagen.

Designed by Arcgency the industrial space has been converted into a luxury private retreat experience for just 2 hosts.

10 Best Alarm Clock (New Year Resolution)

Hello everyone and Happy new year! I hope you had a lovely start, I disappeared a bit from social media and the blog, as I was spending some lovely time both in Ireland and Italy. It’s been one of the longest Xmas holidays I had in ages and I really enjoyed that!

This year resolution will be just one, and I’ll have to try and stick to it: switch off from the phone a bit more (travelling to a place without a good internet connection of wifi made me realize how addicted I am to it…). So as soon as we got home my lovely husband suggested starting by keeping the phones away from the bedroom and getting an old style Alarm Clock.

Now that might sound funny but it’s hard to still find alarm clocks in shops as everyone is using mobiles phones, and especially to find nice design ones…. but with a little research here’s my top 10 alarm clock list:

The Apartment by The Line | NYC

Last week I was in NY for a work trip and as soon as I got a few hours free on the weekend, I visited this amazing concept store in Soho.

While the entrance could be a bit intimidating (the lift from the road is a bit like: ‘Where the hell am I going?’), once you get at the 3rd floor you’re catapulted into the most beautiful light-filled open-air apartment in the heart of SoHo.

10 Favourite Artworks from Affordable Art Fair 2017

Also this year I visited the Affordable Art Fair in the beautiful Battersea Park (so irresistible with all his autumns colors). Same as last year I didn’t bring any artworks home ( sigh!) but I selected my top 10 list of beautiful things: here we are:

1/ Sophie Derrick | Portrait

Beautiful big size digital prints and covered with acrylic colors. This young artist is photographing the act of painting onto her own my skin and then paint on top of the photographs,  blurring the boundaries between the two. Lovely pastel and bold colors are a bold artwork that will fit every space (and my husband n.1 favorite from the fair).

A Minimal Wedding Mood board

Hello! I’m still recovering after the last two weeks from all the emotions I’ve been through.
Everyone said organising a wedding is stressful (I would say more fun than stressful), but no one ever told me that you will still feel so full of the emotions a few days after.
I don’t want to turn this blog into a wedding one but I just thought I’d  share with you my mood board and hopefully, once I got our professional photos I could share a few more with you:
